Letters to the Loved
I’ve created a subreddit where people can share messages they have for those no longer in their lives. I think its therapeutic. Sometimes I think of people and I’d like to express how I feel. I’d really like if people shared some messages and stories about those they love. Because what are we really here for, if it isn’t to love.
So to those deceased or no longer in my life.

I dreamt of you last night. We were at a wedding near the beach. You went off to help some Colombians that were in danger. You came back bleeding. But seemed absolutely unfazed, asking me to calm down while you held a handkerchief to your chest soaking up the blood. I cried while you got onto a plane, begging the hostess not to let you go in your state. You gave me a warm embrace, and off you went.
You are my idol. A person I always strive to be like. You were the peoples man. Always helping, smiling and laughing. I am so honoured to call you my Pappou and best friend.

Mia may your laughter continue to kiss the cheeks of everyone you’ve ever met. Your sweetness will never sour.
I wish you hadn’t left us so soon, it honestly broke my heart.
Sometimes I dream of you; we’d have a small conversation at a party. I hope you decide to visit me again and maybe stay a little longer. And take another photo with me, sadly this is all I could find.
